Nicole Carter Noyes

September 7, 1970 — January 23, 2024

Clinton

On the morning of January 23, 2024, Nicole Carter Noyes saddled up and rode to her eternal home after she fiercely fought a battle with cancer. In 2019, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. After thinking that she had overcome this terrible disease, it then spread throughout her body, including her brain, liver, lungs, hip and bones. She fought valiantly until she drew in her last breath.

Nicole came into this life on September 7, 1970 in Ogden, Utah to Sandra Josephine Ashby and Phillip W. Carter.

Throughout her school years, she attended Morgan schools and graduated in 1988 from Morgan High School. Later on, she graduated with an Associates Degree at Eagle Gate College in medical billing and coding. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was an accomplished horsewoman. Riding horses was a passion she enjoyed her whole life. She rode in 4H, High School Rodeo and an adult riding club, leading her to become a rodeo queen. She was the 1990 Morgala Days queen and FFA sweetheart.

The outdoors was an immense part of her life. Whether on the back of a horse, or in the seat of a side by side, she was eager to try any trail or ride. The Uintahs and Hardscrabble held particular fondness for her.

Nicole was the 1st attendant of Morgala Days in June of 1989. This held a special tenderness for her as it was during this that she met the love of her life, Kent Noyes. Their life would revolve around horses, arenas, family, and mountains. They were married on a beautiful summer day on June 1, 1991 in Hooper, Utah. She was blessed with 2 daughters and a step-son whom she adored. She greatly enjoyed her grandchildren as well.

At the time of her death, she was employed at Rotech HealthCare Services. She had a compassionate heart and loved to serve and help others. If anyone was in need, she was there to assist. She was predeceased by her grandparents. She is survived by her husband Kent, daughters Nikeshia Noyes, Sydnee Noyes, and step-son Brandon Noyes and son Tyson Noyes and daughter Katie Noyes, 4 grandchildren; parents Phil and Colleen Carter, Sandie Thompson (Doug); siblings Kelly Carter, Rusty Carter (Jody), Heidi Parker (Scott) of Oklahoma, Cody Carter (Sandra), step brothers Randy Higley (Erica) and Tyler Higley as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Although our sweet Nicole departed this life way too soon, we know she is riding in greener pastures now. Till we meet again, Cowgirl.

Special thanks to Applegate Hospice Care and family for their loving care in the final weeks of her life.
