Our beloved Nicole A. Swenson (Jenkins), age 35 passed away peacefully on February 27, 2022.
She was born on April 10, 1986, in Ogden, Utah to Dean and Cindy Jenkins.
Nicole spent time studying in the medical field and then later started and owned her own cleaning business. She was an independent and a hard-working young woman. Nicole loved being outdoors, hiking, running marathons, boating, and riding ATVs. She also loved to travel & explore new places. Nicole was the Jill of all trades; she could do just about anything. She enjoyed cooking (which she was amazing at), crafting, woodwork, gardening, & photography. She truly had a calling for photography and was phenomenal photographer.
In 2009, Nicole married Eric Swenson in the Salt Lake Temple. In 2011 she gave birth to an amazing baby boy named Jarris. Nicole wanted nothing more than to be a mother and was an amazing mother at that. Her life revolved around Jarris. She was always looking for new and exciting things to take Jarris to do. Together the two of them loved making crafts, playing games, and taking pictures. According to Jarris there was no such thing as enough time with mom!!
Nicole was very family oriented and was always looking for excuses to get the family together. She was loving caring, and companionate. Nicole was a beautiful woman on the inside and out. She was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and much more. Nicole was very social and got along with everyone. She made it a point to make sure no one was left out. Nieces and nephews adored her and would always look forward to spending time with “Aunt Coley”. She would drop everything she was doing to play with Jarris and “cousins”. Nicole loved animals, whether it was bunnies, dogs, cats and of course her Chinchillas that she referred to as her “babies”.
Nicole’s light and love will be missed deeply. She touched so many lives and will be forever in our hearts.
Nicole is preceded in death by her father, Dean Jenkins, grandparents Clifton and Vereta Jenkins. She is survived by her parents Bart and Cindy Richins, son Jarris, sister Kylie (Mike), brothers, Donovan (Justine), Michael (Monica), Austin (Daidree), Sage, and many nieces and nephews, and grandparents.
