Pamela Rae Russell Clark Turner

Pamela Rae Russell Clark Turner, passed away May 9, 2023 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family due to complications from a fall. She was born June 30, 1937 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada to Francis Criddle and Hilda Pratt Russell.

She married Leon Gail Clark June 20, 1956 in the Cardston Alberta LDS Temple. He died on September 25, 1969. She married Paul Hyde Turner February 20, 1970.  He died December 26, 2009.

She graduated from Lethbridge Collegiate Institute and attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University. She excelled in music, playing the piano and organ, and earned Associate Degrees in pianoforte performance from University of Toronto and University of Alberta. She was a piano teacher.      

After Leon’s death, Pam became the owner of Clarks’ Feed & Seed and dry farm.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in several capacities. She served as a member of Utah Farm Bureau and was State Women’s Chairman and state board member. She also served as Utah State Fair Board Chairman and board member and on the Governor’s Health Policy Commission. She served as secretary to several water companies.

Her greatest love was her family and friends with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Children born to her and Leon Clark are Marcia (John) Pryor, Gaylene (Bret) Kimbal, Russell (Elise) Clark, Tim Clark (deceased), and Roger (Betty) Clark.

Stepchildren include: Marsha Ann (Floyd, deceased) Martin; Jan (deceased) (Fran) Turner; Merrilee Hopkin (deceased); Wendy Turner; and Kirsten (Curtis) Ball.

Brothers and sisters include: Rosemary (Lawrence) Edmunds (both deceased); Bob (Blanche deceased) Russell; Francine (Bob, deceased) Bennion; and Kendall (Karen) Russell.

The family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Marcia Clark Pryor for moving
in and taking care of her mother for the past year This was a great personal sacrifice for Marcia
and her family but her sacrifice allowed her mother to remain in her home.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Morgan Stake Center at 11:00 am.

Viewings will be held on Friday May 19, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to the services both at the Morgan Stake Center (355 N 700 E.).

Interment North Morgan Cemetery.
