COALVILLE a�" Patricia Ruth Williams, 72, passed away at her home in Coalville with her husband at her side on Dec. 22, 2009 after a long illness.

Pat was born on May 18, 1937 to Cecil and Dora (Lappin) Kittle in Newport Beach, CA.

Pat married James Crocker (later divorced) and had four children, Patricia, Sally, James and Richard. She was employed by McDonnell-Douglas.

Pat married James Williams on Dec. 3, 1977 in Santa Ana, CA. They moved to Coalville in 1993 and Pat became the neighborhood grandmother to dozens of children over the years. She was loved and cherished for her generosity and her unconditional acceptance of all. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved to visit with her neighbors and was always eager to show off pictures of her beloved family. She loved to garden and work in her yard until her health declined. Her orchids and other houseplants were amazing. She also enjoyed her pets and was known to adopt abandoned or stray cats whenever they appeared at her door.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Williams of Coalville, daughter Patricia Stanton (George "Rusty), daughter-in-law Patricia (James-deceased),, and a son Richard (Joyce) all of California. She is also survived by her sisters, Maxine Mean (Bill-deceased), Erma Jean Sneed (Chester "Chet"-deceased), Kathryn Crocker (Luther) and Carol Chapman (Larry), six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Sally, her son James and brothers Bill, Frank and Roy (Butch).

She will be missed so much by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Coalville LDS Chapel. Friends and family may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

A memorial service in California will be held at a later date.
