Patsy Downs
March 18, 1944 — May 17, 2016
Patsy Martin Downs, 72 of Roy, Utah passed away to a better place May 17, 2016 at her home of natural causes surrounded by her family.
Patsy was the second born of six girls to Keith Hawkins Martin and Ella Marie Lindsay Martin on March 18, 1944 in Ogden, Utah. Patsy grew up in Washington Terrace attending Washington Terrace Elementary, South Ogden Jr. High and Weber High school.
Patsy enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with family and friends camping, fishing, hunting and enjoyed the shooting sports. Patsy also enjoyed road trips and going to Wendover. Patsy retired with 25 years of service with the IRS.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 56 years Allen Kay; daughter, Jenny (Travis) Smith of Ogden; sons, Todd (Amy) Downs of Morgan County, Utah and Trent(Gina) Downs of Hooper, Utah; mother, Ella Reeder; sisters Annett & Bill Lucas, Suzanne & Rick Jenkins, Bonnie Russell, Emma & Ronald Walston; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by a sister, Beth Martin; father, Keith H. Martin; In-laws Jesse and Alta Downs and grandparents from both sides.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at Washington Heights Cemetery at 11 a.m. Family may call at the LDS church in Hooper at 5601 South 6100 West, Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
