Russell Vern Blonquist was born December 11, 1954 to Glen and Barbara Blonquist. He passed away on May 15, 2013.
Russell was born in Coalville, Utah where he was raised. He loved going fishing, hunting and camping.
Russell enlisted in the army where he served for four years and was honorably discharged when he returned home.
He married Connie M Warburton on December 27, 1977; they had a lovely daughter, Vernetia Amber Blonquist on March 24, 1979. They were married for twenty years. After that, he met Pat Brinkerhoff, whom he stayed with for twelve years.
Russell was a very outgoing and happy person, always helping everyone and didn't want anything in return - just friendship. He loved everyone, no matter their faults.
He had a dog named Peanut, who he cherished and loved.
He also was a great mechanic and loved to work on mechanical things. He always loved a challenge and could fix anything. No matter how long it took, he would get it done.
He has three bothers and one sister: Glen, Christine, Ben and Mike.
He will be deeply missed and loved by everyone who knew him. He will never be forgotten. Surely we will see him again one day.
Memorial services will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 12 noon at Walker Mortuary, 268 So. Main, Coalville, UT. Friends may gather one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
