Sandra Wilson

May 17, 1963 — February 5, 2011

Sandra (Sandy) Rigby Wilson, 47, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from a sudden illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 17, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dr.Vaughan Dale and Julia Salisbury Rigby. Sandra grew up in Midvale, Utah. While studying at Utah State University she met and married her eternal companion, Steven Curtis Wilson, on June 28, 1984 in the Salt Lake Temple. To this union was born their five children, Ryan Curtis, Breanne, Brock Rigby, Joshua Steven, and Keaton Casey whom she loved unconditionally. Sandra loved life and lived it to the fullest; spreading cheer and happiness to everyone she came in contact with. Her life was one of continual service to family, friends and community. She spoke highly of her friends and they were a big part of her life. She loved the Lord and her faithful membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was exemplified through her Christ-like service. Sandra was the life of a party and loved being with family and friends. No matter the situation of the day, Sandra was dressed to the nines, primped and accessorized, even while boating, hiking or driving School Bus #35, which was the most pampered and best smelling bus in the state. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Steven and her children Ryan(24) and Katie(24), Breanne(23) and Kent Carrigan(25), Elder Brock(Tucson, Az)(20), Joshua(15), and Keaton(10). Also her pride and joy, her grandson Braxton(1).
