Scott Giles

Scott Giles was born on January 21, 1962 and unexpectedly returned home to his Heavenly Father and loving parents on the afternoon of Sunday, December 15, 2024. He was born in 62, gone at the age of 62.

Scott attended Mrs. Critchlow’s little red schoolhouse in her very first class, H. Guy Child Elementary then moved to Milton in 1975 and graduated from Morgan High School the Class of 1980.

Scott married the love of his life Cheryl Kristine Holgreen on June 10, 1987 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Scott lived for adventure from the very moment he could walk and if it had a motor he was on it and going as fast as it could possibly go. There’s nothing that would get a bigger grin on his face then ripping on a dirt bike. His love for and care of animals was unmatched and they loved him right back. He was a big kid through and through and really helped bring it out of the people around him. He had a huge heart for the things he was passionate about, and the people he loved and made sure they were always taken care of in every way. His bright, happy laugh and grin will be sorely missed, but we know we will meet again and until then he’ll be riding dirt bikes across the skies.

Scott is survived by his wife Cheryl, children Savannah and Landon, dogs Nugget and Sage, sister Holly, brother Nate (Kristy) & family, and many more brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, etc.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob & Judy Giles, a dear friend Brad Bigler and his furry friends Boone, Buck, and URL.

A open house to pay respects for everyone that loves Scott will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Burch Creek 2nd Ward building 5161 S 1300 E. South Ogden, UT 84403. A graveside service will be held at Linquist Memorial Park Cemetery.

Always remember Scott would say “Don’t be a fun hater.”
