Ogden a�" Scott Alexander Hazard, 23, quietly passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at his residence in Ogden.
Scott was born October 12, 1984 in San Marcos, TX the son of Kenneth and Mary Hazard. He later moved to Utah where he met and fell in love with the true passion of his life a�" his friends.
Scott spent much of his life in Northern Utah and attended Morgan High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team before graduating in 2003. After high school, Scott made his living by working construction and was most proud of his accomplishments as a rock mason.
Scott was always willing to participate in new hobbies and try new things, as such, he enjoyed many activities including: golfing, four-wheeling, hunting, traveling and most importantly spending time with his friends.
Scott touched the lives of everybody he met and gave them all memories that will not fade. He was always able to make people laugh and feel good about themselves. He will be missed by all.
Scott found great solstice in religion and was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed attending services, meeting with the missionaries and being a part of the Church community.
Scott was preceded in death by his step-father Ray Bakker.
Scott is survived by his mother, Mary Hazard-Bakker of Mountain Green, UT; his father, Kenneth Hazard II of Hebbronville, TX; his brother, Eric (LaNita) Hazard of New York, NY; brother, Adam Hazard of Ogden, UT; and nephew, Wyatt Hazard, Ogden, UT. Also surviving are his grandparents, Robert and Nancy Brownback of Parker, KS; grandparents, Kenneth and Terese Hazard of Winchester, VA;
Scott's family would like to express sincere appreciation to his many friends for the help, love and encouragement they gave to him.
Scott always found it very important to help others, thus, in lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Scott's name to the Weber Human Services Foundation, Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Education Services.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2007 at 12 p.m. at the Mountain Green Chapel, 2755 W. Old Hwy Rd, Mountain Green. Friends may call at the church Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
Interment, Mtn. Green Cemetery.
