Sharon Radford

MORGAN - Sharon Lee Radford, 74, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, after a short illness.
She was born March 27, 1936, to Catherine Vaughn Mitchell and Dean Mitchell in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Fremont High in Sunnyvale, CA. She married David Lee Radford on Nov 4, 1957 in Carson City, NV. Together they moved to Salt Lake in 1963 and moved the family to Morgan in 1974. She was a Foster Grandparent at Morgan Elementary School, where she helped children read. Working with children was one of her greatest joys. Until recently, she also worked for Morgan Middle School.
She is survived by her daughter Kelly, Calhan, CO; sons David, Morgan, UT and Andrew, Layton, UT; sister Dawn (Bill) Zenz, Sparks, NV; and several nieces and nephews, Sparks, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov 10, at 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 45 W 200 N. Morgan, Utah. Friends and family may call at the mortuary from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the services.
