Sherrie Ross Jensen, age 61, was suddenly and unexpectedly called to her heavenly home on October 25, 2022. She was born June 6, 1961 in Ogden, Utah to John and Amy Ross.
Sherrie was a woman who had a tenacity for life that was infectious. Her love of adventure began early. Her tales of boating shenanigans with her family as a child had us in stitches as she’d recount countless times of inevitably being stranded by that darn boat.
As she grew into a beautiful young lady her skills with a needle began to take shape. Eventually Sherrie could whip out five intricate, fluffy, and adorable costumes for Halloween that would have her children sweating by the time they were done trick or treating. Her skills extended beyond sewing into all realms of crafting. She could take one look at a project which required a new skill and complete it swiftly and with quality.
Sherrie met the love of her life when a tall, handsome, and goofy boy named Paul whisked her away on a blind date and she never looked back. Together they had 6 children who kept them busy. They never spent more than a few days away from each other their entire 42 year marriage. Her love for her family only grew stronger as her grandchildren began to emerge. Always thinking of fun and carefully tailored gifts for each grandchild’s interest her selflessness shone bright.
Sherrie was a woman of incredible strength, a quick wit, infectious laugh, tenacity, selflessness and love. She will always be loved fiercely by those left behind.
Sherrie is survived by: her husband Paul, her six children and their spouses, Adam (Jessica) Jensen, Heather (Joseph) Milner, Emilee (Jason) Firth, Haley (Jason) Bagley, Dallin Jensen, and Ross Jensen, and her 9 grandchildren, Ammon, Alisynne, Hayden, Ethan, Emma, Owen, Ava, Baylee, and Everly, her mother Amy, her six siblings and their spouses, Kaylene Burdett, Kathy and Ed Rhoades, Mark and Sheila Ross, Jan and Phil Nash, Terrie and Kelly Nielson , Ann and Jeremy Turner, and her many nieces and nephews.
