MORGAN a�" Charles Stanley Pentz, or just Stan to family and friends, passed away July 2, 2009. He died with his boot on, genuinly one of the last true cowboys.
He was born July 25, 1944 to Charles I. Pentz and Jewel Violet (Vi) Carpenter Pentz. He married Lorna Dean Brinkerhoff August 23, 1963. His childhood and manhood were spent in the mountians of Lost Creek. He never turned down an oppurtunity to be with friends and family around a campfire talking about good horses he rode or his poems he wrote, but he loved to talk about the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, his sons and daughters: Stonewall, Camaron, Casey, Charly (Ruth), Rebecca, Tyler, 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and best pals, nine brothers: Randy, Steve, Byron, Larry, Whitney, Joseph, Zane, Shane, Lane and four sisters: Jewell, Pearl, Opal and Topaz.
He is preceded in death by his father Charly I. Pentz, mother Vi Pentz, one sister Ruby Pentz, two brothers Timothy and stillborn brother and best friend Uncle Ken Pentz.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday July 7, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Croydon Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday, July 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary in Morgan and on Tuesday from 9-10 a.m.
