Taylor Shane Gibson

Taylor Shane Gibson, left us unexpectedly on September 29, 2024, at the age of 27.

Taylor was born on May 4, 1997 in Ogden, UT to Linda Mayhew and Matthew Shane Gibson. He graduated from Bountiful High School in 2015. He married the love of his life, Makenzi, on June 23, 2018. After moving to Coalville, Taylor worked as an auto mechanic. Taylor and Makenzi welcomed three beautiful children into this world, Hadley (4), Jozie (11 months) and Jenavieve (11 months).

Taylor was a fun, spirited soul and had many passions, including going to the sand dunes and ham radios. He was mechanically inclined since he was a child and often used those skills to help others.

Taylor is survived by his wife, Makenzi Gibson and their three children; his mother, Linda Mayhew, his father, Matthew Shane Gibson; his younger sister Madelyn (Steven) Fryar; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Taylor was predeceased by his grandparents Garth and Stephanie Gibson and Sterling Ray Mayhew.

Taylor had a big heart and a generous spirit. He made an impact on many lives and although his time here was too short, we are grateful for the time we had. Words cannot express how much he will be missed. May he be in peace. Until we meet again.
