Theone Spackman

Theone Spackman, 89, passed away May 18, 2023. She was born February 3, 1934 in Mountain Green, Morgan, Utah, to Darrell Lamar France and Laveria Clawson.

Theone had two sisters, Evelyn and Donna Mabel, one brother Vernon Darrell. Theone was the youngest, all deceased.

Theone’s parents moved a number of places, as he worked on the railroad. They bought a 11 acre farm in Porterville, Utah.

Theone loved working in the garden and on the farm. She enjoyed canning with her mother.

Theone was attending Morgan High School when she meet Marion Morgan Spackman, and they were married July 12, 1950.

The major part of their life together they lived in Peterson, Morgan, Utah. Theones’ father got Marion a job on the railroad which he retired from after 30 years.

After Marion passed away in 2014, her neighbors and friends helped her become active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was so happy when she was sealed to Marion in the Ogden Temple, December 1, 2016.

Marion and Theone had one daughter, Shirley Howard, who lives in Spokane Washington. She has 5 grandchildren, Jodylynn (Lee) Galbraith, of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Bryan, Paul, Matthew, and Andrew, all of Spokane.

Theone loved her family most of all. She was very talented in crocheting which she loves giving away to friends and family. She loves crafts. She really loved jewelry and flowers.

Viewing to be held May 26, 2023 at Walker Mortuary, 45 W. 200 N., Morgan, Utah, from 10:00 am – 10:45 am, with a funeral at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please take someone special to dinner.
