Timothy Lafitte Jr

February 17, 1969 — September 27, 2013

MORGAN a" Timothy Lewis Lafitte Jr. passed away Friday, September27, 2013.

Tim was born February 17, 1969 in Bellflower, California. He graduated from Layton High School where he played football and wrestled. He attended Northwestern College in Wyoming on a wrestling scholarship.

Tim worked at Lifetime Products before finding his calling as a Firefighter/Paramedic. He proudly worked for the Ogden City Fire Department. The connections that Tim made with his brothers and sisters at Ogden City Fire were deeply rooted in his heart.

He was one heck of a fly fisherman who spent many great times out on the river with his dad, his buddies, his boys, and most recently, his nephew. He was also a huge movie buff that loved taking the kids off to a show.

He is survived by Stacy, Lydon and Aaron Lafitte of Morgan, Utah; Tim Sr. and Margy Lafitte of Clearfield; Carol and Alan Marshal of Morgan; sisters Cathy Garcia, Debbie Dala and Deanne Young; his other brother Rob Henneberger; his best fishing buddies Jason, Dave, Boyd and Dave; and too many fire fighter brothers and sister to list.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Deputy Taylor, Deputy Gross, Chief Edwards; EMTs Wendy Barber, Candi Clark and Mary Alexander as well as Ogden City Rescue Crew, Dennis Crezee and Jared Hawkes that were with Timmy during his last moments. It brings us great comfort to know that he was in the hands of these very special people.

It was Tim's wish to be a donor and that his remains be cremated. A farewell will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 from noon to 5:00 pm at his home. The address is 424 East 100 North (off Commercial Street) Morgan, Utah. Everyone is invited to attend this open house, share their stories about Tim and visit with his family.
