Tony Fife
March 22, 1959 — April 30, 2009
Morris Anthony (Tony) Fife passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 in Ogden, UT after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 22, 1959 in Ogden, UT to David Morris and Merla Baxter Fife. He was raised in Morgan, UT. On August 16, 1977 he married his high school sweetheart Joyce Rowher in Ogden UT.
Tony worked for 36 years as a cement finisher, which he loved. He was a family man who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed camping, fishing and Nascar racing. He is a member of the LDS church.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, his daughter Cherry Fife of Ogden, his son Anthony (Jenna) of Croydon, UT and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by seven sisters: Janelle (Rich) Skeen; Georgene (Jeff) Carter; Carolyn (Arlin) Ovard; Linda (Dallen) Wilcox; Kimberly (Chris) Mikesell; Jennifer (Travis) Evans; Tiffany Fife and one brother Adam (Coerina) Fife.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 12 noon at the Lorin Farr Ward Chapel, 480 7th St. Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held Wednesday May 6, 2009 from 10 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Hooper cemetery.
