Utahna Robinson

June 14, 1929 — May 30, 2010

Utahna Richards Saxton Robinson Our beloved mother and grandmother, Utahna Richards Saxton Robinson, returned home to be with her eternal companion on May 30, 2010, completing a successful mission here on earth.

Utahna was born on June 14, 1929 in Oakley, Utah to Curtis Lavell Saxton and Florence Ashton Richards. She married James Ernest (Ernie) Robinson on October 13, 1951. They were sealed for time and all eternity on March 13, 2010. Together they raised a family of eight children. Utahna loved life and was very thankful that she was able to stay here on earth for so many years. She loved having her family around her and was proud of their many talents and abilities. Utahna enjoyed reading, doing family history, camping and working in her gardens.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in many callings. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. The family would like to thank all those that helped care for Mom during her illness. Including Applegate Hospice Care.

She is survived by her children, Jim (Deb) Robinson of Coalville, Sherry Ann (Clair) King of Layton, Rex (Brenda) Robinson of Coalville, Mike (Coni) Robinson of Coalville, Kathryn Robinson of Coalville, Wes (Kellie) Robinson of Coalville, Jody (Audra) Robinson of Coalville, and Elizabeth Stephens of Mountain View, Wyoming along with twenty-six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; Her brother Dewey Saxton and her sister Wilma Bugger. She is preceded in death by her sweetheart, Ernie; Two grandsons, Luke Stephens and Kelsey Robinson; Her brother, Earl Saxton and her sister, Emily Saxton Goehring.

A viewing will be held at the Coalville Stake Center on Friday, June 4th from 6-8 pm and Saturday, June 5th from 10:30 - 11:30 am. The funeral services will be on Saturday, June 5th at noon in the same location.
