Vivian Grover

November 4, 1921 — December 23, 2013

She was a native of Morgan, Utah. She was one of ten children.

Vivian has faced and overcome many challenges in her life. Vivian never married but devoted most of her life to the care of two of her brothers and her father. When she was 83 she was one of the most senior participants of the Weber/Morgan Senior Community Service Employment Program. In 2004 Vivian was honored by the Utah Jazz and the Utah Older Worker Coordination Council and presented with an "Outstanding Older Worker Award" at the Delta Center in Salt Lake.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; James Picton Grover, Lottie May Robison Grover, 8 brothers and sisters: Ella May Grover Hatch, James Omar Grover, Clifford R. Grover, LeGrande Grover, Thomas A. Grover, Morgan Joel Grover, Dee A. Grover, and Louise Grover Prieto. Surviving is her sister Ardis Grover Bybee.

Vivian's family would like to thank all of her neighbors in Morgan for helping in taking care of her over the last few years of her life and also the staff and employees at Manor Care South Ogden this last year of her life.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Utah. Viewings are scheduled for Thursday night from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and 11:45 am to 12:45 pm Friday before the Funeral service also at Walker Mortuary in Morgan.
