She was born July 12, 1917 in Driggs Idaho to John James Johnson and Mary Edith Carruth Johnson. Vivian's family moved from Driggs, Idaho to Coalville Utah in 1927 and then to Morgan, Utah in 1929. She was a graduate of Morgan High School. She married George H. Pratt in the Logan Temple on October 16, 1942.
Vivian was an assistant county clerk and a bookkeeper for many years at J. Williams and Sons. She was a meticulous record keeper and incorporated that aspect of work into her daily life. Vivian was a Lady Lion and achieved her pin. Vivian enjoyed crocheting, traveling, playing cards and visiting with her sisters; watching others was always a favorite past time. She also enjoyed watching BYU football and the Utah Jazz.
Vivian was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Sunday school, the Mutual Improvement Association and was a visiting teacher. She and her late husband also served in the Ogden Temple on a sealing team.
From her marriage to George, Vivian was blessed with two step-children. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with them and their grandchildren especially when they came to stay in her home. Later in life she enjoyed their loving care and compassion.
When Vivian's oldest nieces were young, they had a hard time saying her name and began calling her Bobo. To this day she is still referred to as Aunt Bobo. She has enjoyed and contributed to the lives of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. It was always a special occasion when Bobo celebrated an event with you.
She is preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters: William H. Johnson, John C. Johnson, Mildred J. Williams, and Edith J. Lee.
She is survived by a sister, Effie Johnson Rich and many nieces and nephews; two stepchildren: George Mark (Esther Jo) Wood of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Marianne Miller of Hemmit, Califronia; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The Family wishes to extend a special thank you to Michelle Taylor, Dawn Hamblin, Crestwood Care Center, and IHC hospice for all the loving care she received.
