MORGAN a�" Von Phelps Rich, 60, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at his home.
He was born June 6, 1949 in Ogden, Utah to Grant Phelps and Clara Beth Peterson Rich.
Von married Kathy Giles. They were later divorced.
He graduated from Morgan High School. He had been a member of the Morgan Co. Search and Rescue. His pride and joy was his pomerian dog, Ozzy and he enjoyed his friends at Larry's Spring Chicken Inn.
Surviving are his son Andrew (Kimberly) Rich, Morgan; daughter, Amber (Daniel) White, Syracuse; three grandchildren; and a brother, Neil (Vicki) Rich, Layton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 12 noon in the Morgan 6th Ward Chapel, 2700 So. Morgan Valley Drive, Porterville. Friends and family may call at Walker Mortuary in Morgan Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
Interment, South Morgan Cemetery.
