Willa Ann Loveless
Clearfield a�" Willa Ann Loveless, of Clearfield, returned to the Lord and his unconditional love while residing in Manor Care Nursing facility on June 3, 2007.
Ann was born May 14, 1943 in Nashville, TN. A daughter of R. W. Jett and Annie Katherine Hughes. Ann Grew up and attended school in the Nashville area.
She met and married Josef Hogue and they relocated to Oceanside, CA. Shortly there after they were blessed with a beauitful and bright daughter and named her Kathering "LeAnn" (Kat). Ann and Josef later devorcd. While roller skating, Ann met her present husband of 33 years, Kim Loveless.
Always together, they shared many exciting, glorious, happy and fulfilling years of adventures. Ann and kim loved to trout fish. They fished for rainbow, the walleye brown and the native cutthroat in California, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and the streams, lakes and rivers in Utah. In the 80's Ann was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis which caused Ann to give up fishing alongside Kim.
Ann did not let the illness keep her homebound. She and her husband began a tradition they carried on for a number of years. They would find and area on the map and every other month visit that site. These adventures took them to places like: Big Sur, Carmel, Monterey, Big Bear, Simi Valley, Coronada, Balboa Zoo, Santa Barbara and many other beautiful area's of this wonderful country God has given us. Many times they would simply pack an over-night picnic meal a small pup tent, find a secluded area along the beach in Carlsbad, CA and look at the surfers until nightfall. They would then look at the heavens. Ann would always describe how wonderful of a life those that finally arrive in that infinite, glorious world they must surely be enjoying.
Ann and Kim would sucumb to sleep and spoke the same words they said to each other all their married life, "Bear Hugs and Kisses."
Ann retired from Mervyns in Ogden and began doing volunteer work at various nursing homes in the Roy and Clearfield communities. Her mother became gravely ill and she had to quit volunteering. She cared for her mother with the help from hospice until she passed away in 1986 of breast cancer.
In 1998 Kim's mother became very ill and Ann helped care for "Mom Loveless" until God took her home in 2004.
Ann and Kim's mom had the name "Ann Loveless" and their birthdays were identical May 14, 1911 and 1943. Ann was an Episcopalian who read the Bible all the wasy through.
Surviving are one daughter, "Kat" Carpenter, Two other daughters: Heleena Castro and Debbie Stephenson, Seven Beloved grandchildren:David, Liz, Kayla, Chris, Dani, Dylan and Cody. Also four great-grandchildren: Jessica, Tristan, Willow and Elvis.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother "Nan," three aunts and an uncle.
Graveside services were held Friday June 8, 2007 in the South Morgan Cemetery.
